  Obituary: It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Fairlee "Lee" Yelton, of San Antonio, Texas, who passed away peacefully on February 22, 2023, at the age of 88. Lee was born on September 8, 1934, in Del Rio, Texas to Hazel Hopkins and Walter Montgomery Terrell. Lee's friends and family will remember her as a dedicated nurse with a warm heart and generous spirit who spent her life caring for others. She was a devoted Christian woman whose faith guided all that she did. She was a proud member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and The Daughters of the King. Lee was generous, had a light-hearted sense of humor and was always willing to lend support to those in need. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Otto Arthur Yelton, III; and sisters, Florence Hazel Yelton and Beatrice Stanmire. Lee is survived by her daughters, Tracy Hurley (Robert Hurley) and Kimberly Yelton; grandchildren, Kelley and Courtney Hurley; niece, Joanna Stanmire Guernsey; as well as other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Mark's Episcopal Memorial Fund in memory of Lee Yelton. (Published by Porter Loring Mortuary of San Antonio, TX)
