  Obituary: Iva Dolores Petty, 83, went to her eternal home with our Lord on Saturday, April 18, 2015. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Trail Church of Christ, 1801 Brown Trail, Bedford. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet. Dolores was born in Seymour and lived most of her life in Bedford. She lived her life with the utmost integrity and respect for our Lord, her family, and all people she came in contact with. Dolores was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was a member of the Brown Trail Church of Christ for over 38 years, where she felt very loved. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Elmer Roy Petty. Survivors: Sons, Danny Petty, Randy Roy Petty and wife, Rosie; grandchildren, Danna Buck and husband, James, Danul Petty, Lina Reyes, David Reyes III, and Rodney Sutton and wife, Mary; great-grandchildren, Sierra Hensley, James Buck and Coal Petty; brother, Royce Brothers and wife, Marie; sister-in-law, Ada Lee; and very special cousin, Joan Dawson-Rieger.
