Notes - Obituary:
OLNEY - Services for Francis Blanton Elkins, 67, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Olney with the Rev. Dick Turner officiating.
Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney.
Mr. Elkins died Friday in Olney.
He was born July 8, 1916, in Palo Pinto Co. He married Lula Doggett in 1955 in Lovington, N.M.
Mr. Elkins was an Army veteran of World War II and the maintenance supervisor of the Olney Housing Authority.
Survivors other than his wife include two daughters, Helen Orren of Odessa and Francis Green of Prescott, Ariz.; a brother, Tony Elkins of Spur; a sister, Minnie Brown of Olney; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Lunn Funeral Home of Olney is in charge of arrangements.
