    • Obituary:

      WHITNEY - Herbert Leon "Shaw" Crenshaw, 78, self-employed, died Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at a Waco hospital.

      Funeral: noon Saturday at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne. Burial: 10 a.m. Monday at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

      Memorials: Disabled Veterans.

      Herbert Leon "Shaw" Crenshaw was born Aug. 13, 1923, in Gorman. He served as a chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Spearfish Submarine.

      Survivors: Daughters, Pamela Clapp of Rio Vista, Sandra Ford of Cleburne; mother, Floy Morrison; brother, Gene Crenshaw of Alba; sister, Pat Harrington of Sulfur Springs: four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
