    • Obituary:

      John William Haynes died Wednesday in his Loomis home. He was 74.

      Mr. Haynes was born in Gorman, Texas, in 1915 and was a resident of Loomis for the past nine years. He was also a former resident of Los Altos.

      He was a retired builder.

      Mr. Haynes is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Geoffroy of Loomis, and son, Michael Haynes of Loomis; grandson, Aaron Geoffroy of Loomis; and granddaughters, Jessica Geoffroy and Marianna Haynes. He is also survived by his brothers, James Haynes of San Jose and Bill Haynes of Texas.

      A private family service will be held in Loomis. For more information, call 652-5270.

      Burial will be at the Gate of the Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos.
