Notes - Death Notice:
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hood and Arthur Caldiron were killed in a wreck one mile West of Milano on Highway 36, Saturday morning at 11:45. Mr. and Mrs. Hood were killed instantly and Mr. Caldiron lived only a few minutes. He was dead on arriving at a Cameron hospital. Mr. Caldiron is survived by his widow and several children. Funeral services were held in Rockdale for Mr. Caldiron with interment in the Sand Grove cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Hood are survived by a son, Jack Hood of San Diego, Calif. and a daughter, Mrs. Frances Maude White of Ft. Worth. Double funeral services were conducted for Mr. and Mrs. Hood at First Christian Church in Rockdale, by Rev. C. E. Fraime. Burial was made in the Milano cemetery with Marek-Burns of Cameron making the arrangements.
