    • Obituary:

      Funeral services were conducted this morning in the Oakland Cemetery 7 1/2 miles south of Gorman for C. C. Vandiver, 58, of 312 W. 37th, who died at 10 a.m. Sunday at his home.

      Local arrangements were with N. S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors. Arrangements in Gorman were handled by Higginbotham Funeral Home.

      Mr. Vandiver was a bookkeeper and resident here since 1935. He was born in Gorman and was a veteran of World War II.

      Surviving are two brothers, Curtis of 3304 S. Tyler and Carl P. of Attapulgus, Ga.
