    • Obituary:

      COTTON VALLEY - Funeral services for Charlie L. Rigdon, 74, of Cotton Valley will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the Bailey Mortuary in Cotton Valley with the Rev. Arval Beckett officiating, assisted by the Rev. U. H. Hunter. Burial will be in the Cotton Valley Cemetery.

      Mr. Rigdon died Sunday in a Springhill hospital following a lengthy illness.

      Survivors include his widow; a son, John Henry Rigdon of the U.S. Air Force; four daughters, Mrs. Estelle Burney of Chestnut, mrs. Martha Keoun of Longview, Tex., Mrs. Ordena Gren of Sicily Island and Mrs. Mary Kilpatrick of Atlanta, Ga.; four sisters, Mrs. Delia Martin and Mrs. Lydia Forster, both of Ashland, Mrs. Ellen Bates and Mrs. Ordena Glover, both of Coushatta, and eight grandchildren.
