    • Obituary:

      Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Blanchard, 75, of Rt. 10, Box 836 will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

      The Rev. Louis Melancon, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Chloe Cemetery under direction of Johnson Funeral Home.

      A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

      Mrs. Blanchard died at 2:10 p.m. Friday in Oak Park Nursing Home.

      A lifelong resident of Lake Charles, she was a member of a Lake Charles pioneer family.

      Survivors include one brother, Ervin LeBleu of Lake Charles; three sisters, Mrs. Renee Hebert of Iowa, and Mrs. Leora McBride and Mrs. Letha Trahan, both of Lake Charles; ans several nieces and nephews.
