Mell Peloquin Claimed by Death
Mell Peloquin, 54, a resident of 1120 Lake street, died at St. Patrick's hospital at 3 a.m. Sunday. Mr. Peloquin was associated with the state highway department as a mechanic and had made his home in Lake Charles for about nine years.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at the Congregational church in Kinder with Rev. Paul Leeds officiating. Burial will be in Green Oak cemetery with the Hixson funeral home in charge.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mandy Peloquin, Lake Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Garcille; Lake Charles; a brother, Matt Peloquin, Kinder; two sisters, Mrs. J. J. Miller and Mrs. Felix Peloquin, Kinder, and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clifford Van Slyke, Felix Fontenot, Wesley Maddox, Arnold Augustine, William Miller and Frank hebert.
