    • Obituary:

      Mark Angelo Ebarb, 80, of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2010.

      He was born April 7, 1930, in Ebarb, La., and was a 58-year resident of Nevada. Mark married Juanice Rankin Nov. 15, 1952. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Mark was a retired electrician and a member of IBEW Local 357 as a journeyman electrician for 55 years.

      He was preceded in death by his daughter, Veronica Ebarb Phillips Oct. 15, 2003.

      Mark is survived by his wife, Juanice Ebarb; granddaughters, Jessica Phillips and Jaime Phillips, both of Las Vegas; sisters, Mildred Madison of Shreveport, La., and Catherine Gianfreda of Las Vegas; and brother, James Ebarb of Boulder City.

      Viewing will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129.

      Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way.

      Graveside services will follow at Palm Memorial Park - Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

      Donations can be made in Mark's name to St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way, Las Vegas, Las Vegas, NV 89108
