      Robert E. McFarland
      June 5, 1938 - Feb. 13, 2020

Robert Ellison McFarland was born July 5, 1938, to George and Mary McFarland.

Bob passed away from natural causes Feb. 13, 2020 at the age of 81.

Bob attended Sauvie's Island grade school and Scappoose High School, where he enjoyed playing many sports. He played pickup basketball until late in life and was dedicated to his hobby of slot car racing at which he was without peer, winning multiple competitions. Bob was a shy and humble man whose many friends will mourn his passing.

Bob leaves behind the love of his life, Jan; one brother, Joe; two sons, Mike and Charlie; one daughter, Kathy; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his beloved cat, Rufy.

      Bob......we will always miss you.

Celebration of life will be held July 5, 2020, at the McFarland property on Sauvies Island.

Details will be posted on Joe McFarland's Facebook page by June.
