    • Obituary:

      Mr. Noel Braxton English, 37, died on November 27, 2004 in a plane crash in Afghanistan. He was born on September 27, 1967 in New Orleans, LA, to Aero G. English and the late Billie Beasley English. He grew up in Amory, graduating from Amory High School. He attended Delta State University and the University of Southern Mississippi. He had been a pilot for 20 years currently employed by Presidential Airlines of Melborne, Florida working in Afghanistan. He had previously flown in Alaska and the Northeastern United States. He was a Baptist.

      Visitation will be Saturday, December 11, 2004 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. E.E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of arrangements.

      Survivors include his father, Aero G. English of Amory, a sister, Lauren English Hamilton of Hattiesburg, MS, his grandmother, Aletha Walker of Hattiesburg. He was preceded in death by his mother.

      Memorials may be given to The Dwelling Place, 2824 Dwelling Place Road, Brooksville, MS 39739 or a charity of choice.
