  Obituary: Brenda Kay Shaw, 55 of Ida, LA passed away June 21, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Ida Methodist Church in Ida, LA officiated by Rev. Jerry Means, Rev. Kendal Docter and Rev. Sandy Defatta. She was born January 13, 1959 in Atlanta, TX and lived in Ida all of her life. She was a member of the Ida Methodist Church. She loved gardening, writing poetry and art. Brenda was preceded in death by her father Paul Terry. She is survived by her mother, Nancy Terry of Ida, LA, her 3 children; Nate Shaw of Ida, Martin Shaw of Ida, and Thomas Shaw and wife Crissy of Ida, and her grandson Jacob Shaw.
