      Sally Dianne Feldman
      September 19, 1947 - October 26, 2025

Sally Dianne Ross Feldman passed away peacefully in the presence of her children on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025.

Dianne was born on Sept 19th, 1947 to Emmitt James and Albina Frances Ross. She was the last of 10 children, the baby of the family. She grew up in Wellborn, Texas and graduated from A&M Consolidated High School. She attended business school in Houston and held jobs there, and in College Station. On Oct. 26th 1968, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Danny Lee Feldman. Together, they raised 2 children, Dana Nicole and David Ross. Attending their sporting events was something she and Danny loved to do, and occasionally she coached soccer teams for David and softball teams for Dana.

Dianne spent most of her career working as a legal assistant for the law firm that is now Rodgers, Miller, Rodriguez & Fusco. This firm wasn't just a place where she went to work, she considered them family, even forming a friend group "The Cha Chas" that carried on into retirement. In 2001, during the months when Danny was ill, the firm afforded her the opportunity to work from home so she could continue to care for him until his final days.

Dianne retired from the law firm in 2017 and moved to Montgomery, Texas so she could be closer to her children and grandchildren. She had a small condo on the lake and loved sitting on her patio watching the boats and jet skis move in and out of the cove. Dianne made fast friends with a ladies group in her condo community. Many afternoons were spent with them by the pool enjoying fellowship and games. They spent the holidays caroling and gathering for hot chocolate and gift exchanges.

While she loved being a mom, it was in May of 2003 that she took on the role she loved best; the role of Mimi. Mimi spoiled her granddaughter, Catherine Dianne, and in November 2005, she spread her love to a grandson, Gabriel Ervin. Her two grandchildren were "the lights of her life." Spending time with them was a privilege for her. "Mimi Camp" was a week-long event she hosted for them in the summers during which she would teach them how to cook, fish, and craft. The days were filled with love, laughter, movies and cake for breakfast. Watching them grow was so special to her and it was a gift to watch her face light up in their presence.

Dianne was also a sister to 9 siblings. A close knit family that loved spending time with each other. One particular gathering she always looked forward to was "Sister Weekend." A time when all of the sisters and sisters in law would get together and work on a sewing or quilting project. Not much sleep was had, but so much fun. Other favorites included Ross Christmas, 4th of July celebrations at Bob and Ann's, and family trips to Port Aransas.

Dianne is survived by her children Dana Briers and husband Scott, David Feldman and wife Courtney; grandchildren Catherine and Gabriel Briers; siblings Maise Gandy, Helen Kennon, Sue Flato, and JD Ross; brother in law Edgar and his wife Susie, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lee Feldman, her parents, Emmitt James and Frances Ross, siblings Irene Miller, Emmitt "Buck" Ross Jr., Patsy Sargent, Nell Summerlin, and Robert "Bob" Ross.

A Celebration of Life for Dianne will be held on Saturday, November 22nd at Memorial Funeral Chapel of College Station. Visitation will be from 2:00pm-3:00pm with the service to immediately follow.

The family would like to thank Devotion Hospice for their care in Dianne's final days. Especially Kate, Latrish, Meredith, and Chaplain Jude. Their kindness helped her final days be ones filled with laughter and hope. As well as Stephanie Powell with Conroe Funeral Directors for her kindness and help with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Assistance League of Montgomery County, Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center, or Tap Out Cancer.
