James M. 'Cooter' Robertson
Dec. 16, 1923 - Jan. 11, 1993
Funeral services for James M. "Cooter" Robertson, 69, of College Station will be at 2 p.m. today at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home.
Russell Hudson will officate. Burial will be in College Station Cemetery.
He was born in Grimes County and lived in Brazos County most of his life. He was a business machine repairman and attended Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan. Mr. Robertson served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Ida Robertson; and a brother, Otis T. Robertson.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Robertson of College Station; two sons and a daughter-in-law, M. Doyle and Betty Jo Robertson and James Dale Robertson, all of College Station; a brother, Malron "Mallie" Robertson of Bryan; two sisters, Velma Williams of Bryan and Polly Blair of Spring; his mother-in-law, Mattie Rosprim of College Station; and three grandchildren, Melissa Dawn Robertson, James Doyle Robertson and Miranda Nichole Robertson.
