      James Dale Robertson
      November 7, 1952 - March 23, 2014

Dale Robertson, 61, of College Station, passed away on Sunday, March 23 in his home. His loving family will receive guests during visiting hours on Tuesday, March 25 at the funeral home from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

A graveside service will be at 11am on Wednesday, March 26 in the College Station City Cemetery, 2530 Texas Ave South, College Station, with Russell Hudson officiating. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Dale was born in Bryan to Cooter and Jean Rosprim Robertson. He was a proud graduate of A&M Consolidated High School Class of 1972. In his earlier years Dale enjoyed hunting and fishing here in the Brazos Valley Area. His favorite and enjoyable fish to catch was catfish. Dale was gifted as a carpenter and shared his talent in woodworking by making cabinets and other furniture products for family and friends.

If Dale could imagine it he made it. He enjoyed a humble and simple life, never boasting of his gifts but of others. He was employed with TAMU Physical Plant for a several years before joining the sales associates at Parker Astin Hardware in Bryan, where he retired in 2004.

His father precedes him in death.

Dale's survivors include his daughter, Miranda and husband, Robert Rubach III of Snook; his mother, Jean (Rosprim) Robertson of College Station; his brother, Doyle and his wife Betty Jo Robertson of College Station; his niece, Melissa Robertson and nephew, James Robertson.

In lieu of flowers his family requests that memorial donations be given to Hospice Brazos Valley, 502 West 26th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803. With warm hearts they say thank you to HBV for all the excellent care and love given to Dale while in their care.
