Joe Thomas Ripkoski
May 24, 1934 - May 5, 1993
NAVASOTA - Funeral services for Joe Thomas Ripkoski, 58, of Washington will be today at 2 p.m. in Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
The Rev. Jesse Campbell of Friedens United Church of Christ in Washington will officiate. Burial will be in Friedens Church Cemetery.
Mr. Ripkoski died Wednesday in Canterbury Villa Nursing Home in Navasota.
He was born in Grimes County and was a self-employed mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Ripkoski of Washington; two sons, Glen Ripkoski of West Virginia and Gregory Ripkoski of Bryan; three stepsons, Roy Nathaniel Vincent of Bremond, Joe Vincent of Topeka, Kan. and Bill Vincent of Texas City; two daughters and one son-in-law, Marilyn and Wade Sontag of Roans Prairie and Jeanette Curtis of Bryan; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert J. and Dorothy Ripkoski of Navasota; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Dottie and Lawrence Smith of Plantersville, Frances Wilson of Houston and Cathy Ripkowski of Buchanan Dam; a stepmother, Pearl Ripkowski of Navasota; and a number of grandchildren.
