Henry "Raymond" Ayers
May 9, 1927 - November 15, 2012
Raymond Ayers passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012, in Bryan, Texas. A time of visitation will be on Sunday, November 18, from 3-6 p.m. at Hillier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, November 19, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillier Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Alexander Cemetery in Bryan.
Raymond was born in Tabor, Texas. After serving in the Navy during WWII in the Seabee Division, he returned to work in the Bryan community as a carpenter. Raymond was a member of the VFW and a member of the Baptist Church. He especially enjoyed fishing and watching westerns. He will be remembered for his loyalty and love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his two sons; Thomas and Lola Ayers of Bryan, Lawrence and Denise Ayers of San Antonio; grandchildren, Cameron, Gavin, Jessica and Kassandra Ayers; and a brother, Lewis Ayers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Ayers, two brothers and one sister.
