      Evelyn DeCuir

      ABBEVILLE - Evelyn Cannon DeCuir, 59, of Abbeville Arms Apartments, I-2, widow of Willie DeCuir, died July 22, 1997 at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital.

      Born in Lowndesville, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Evie Newton Cannon. She was a retired waitress, a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force and was of the Presbyterian faith.

      Surviving are a daughter, Shannon Vice of Abbeville, La.; two sisters, Beatrice Ingram of Greenville and Dorothy Cable of Abbeville; and two brothers, Eddie Cannon and Bill Cannon, both of Greenwood.

      Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. James Blackwell officiating.

      The family will receive friends at the home of Bob and Vickie Bowie, 151 Horne Dr., off the Old Calhoun Falls Highway.

      Harris Funeral Home is in charge.
