Ray C. Frederick
Creole - Funeral services for Ray C. Frederick, 57, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, from Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
The Rev. Al Volpe will officiate. Burial will be in Our Lady Star of the Sea Cemetery in Cameron. Visitation is from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. today, with a rosary at 7 p.m., and from 8 a.m. Sunday.
Mr. Frederick died Thursday, Jan. 15, 1998, in a Lake Charles hospital.
A native of Abbeville, he had lived in Cameron for over 30 years. He was a roustabout for the Transworld/Noble drilling company for 30 years. He was a volunteer firefighter and had worked for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margarita Frederick of Cameron; five sons, Oscar Garcia of Cameron, Hector Garcia of Lake Charles, Carlos Frederick of Austin, Texas, Calvin Frederick of Houston and Chris Frederick of Kaplan, one daughter, Karen Trahan of Kaplan; one sister, Eula Delhomme of Maurice; and 11 grandchildren.

Cameron services held for Ray C. Frederick, 57
CAMERON - Funeral services for Ray C. Frederick, 57, will be held today at 1 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
Frederick died Jan. 15 in Lake Charles.
A native of Abbeville, he was a resident of Cameron for more than 30 years. He was employed as a roustabout with Transworld/Noble Drilling Co. for 30 years and had also been employed by the Cameron Parish Sheriff's Department.
Frederick was a volunteer firefighter in Cameron and a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margarita Frederick of Cameron; by five sons, Oscar Garcia of Cameron; Hector Garcia of Lake Charles; Carlos Frederick of Austin, Texas; Calvin Frederick of Houston; and Chris Frederick of Kaplan; and one daughter, Karen Trahan of Kaplan. He also is survived by one sister, Eula Delhomme of Maurice, and by his 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services were under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Creole, Louisiana.
