• Notes

  Obituary: Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel for Robert Lee LeBlanc, 52, who died at 2 a.m. Wednesday in Baton Rouge. Rev. James Caraway, pastor of the Asbury United Methodist Church, will conduct the services. Interment will be in the Lafayette Masonic Cemetery. Mr. LeBlanc was a native of Rayne, the son of the late Clebert LeBlanc and Marie LeBleu. He was living in Lake Jackson, Tex., at the time of his death where he was employed by the Dow Chemical Co. as an engineer. He had worked for them for the past 21 years. He attended USL and graduated from LSU. Mr. LeBlanc was a member of Hope Lodge No. 145 F. & A.M., which will hold Masonic graveside services. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by one daughter, Miss Susan Kaye LeBlanc of Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. W.W. Bremer of Wimberly, Tex., and Mrs. Harry Davis of San Antonio, Tex.; and one brother, H. John LeBlanc of College Station, Tex. The family requests that visiting hours be observed until 10 tonight and from 8 a.m. until service time Friday. (Published in The Lafayette Daily Advertiser on March 29, 1973)
