ABBEVILLE - Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Apr. 5, 2006, with a Mass of Christian Burial, in St. Theresa Catholic Church, honoring the life of Rene' Giles Trahan, 29, who died Wednesday, Apr. 2, 2006, at Heart Hospital of Lafayette.
The Rev. Kenneth Mayne will officiate the services.
She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Gleeda Coleman and her husband, Rick, Sr., of Abbeville; her father, Wilbert Trahan and his wife, Kim, of Lake Charles; maternal grandparents, C.J. and Vergie Stelly, of Perry; one sister, Alisha Trahan, of Abbeville; half sister, Shannon Vice, of Abbeville; step sisters, Kristi Coelman and Amy C. Parker; step brother, Rickey Coleman, Jr.; uncle, Ronnie Stelly and his wife, Louise; aunt, Carlene Stelly; one niece Claire Gondron; two nephews, Drake Broussard and Jaren Broussard; two cousins, Tawana Stelly and Ronnie Stelly, II; and two very special friends, Andi Bourque and Alli Foster, both of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Claude J. and Giles F. Trahan; two uncles, Wilfred Trahan and Paul Trahan; and one aunt, Mary Lou Lemaire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Friday and continue Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of services.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Friday.
