      Jerry Wayne Adamick, Sr.
      March 24, 1954 - July 1, 2014

      Jerry Wayne Adamick, Sr., was born March 24, 1954 in Conroe, Texas and died June 27, 2014 in Huntsville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Marsh and Mr. and Mrs. John Adamick, niece Mandi Linville and nephew David Adamick, Jr.

      Jerry is survived by parents Florence and Shirley Adamick, sons Jerry W. Adamick, Jr and wife Roxanne, John D. Adamick and wife Misty, Justin T. Adamick and wife Rachel, Joseph Adamick, Caleb Adamick, love of his life Lisa Brown, brother David Adamick, Sr. and wife Cheryl, and sister Peggy L. Linville and husband Billy. He was the proud grandfather of Kyla, Aden Krista, Kinsey, Jake, Jasmine, Seth, Trinity, Jace, Meadow, Grayson, Jaiden and Bradley and was a very caring uncle to numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

      Jerry was a lifelong resident of Walker County. He retired after a long career in law enforcement and corrections. He loved the simple way of life and all that it had to offer. He had a generous heart and would always help others in need. A favorite pass time was to design and build custom BBQ pits. Jerry also loved fishing with the love of his life, Lisa and spending time with his grandchildren.

      Services will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville. Pallbearers will be Jerry Adamick, Jr, John David Adamick, Justin Adamick, Joseph Adamick, Clifford Loll, Pat Leonard, and Honorary Pallbearer Caleb Adamick. Burial will be at Elmina Cemetery in New Waverly. Visitation will be Monday, June 30 from 5 - 7:30pm at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local diabetes foundation.
