Claude Cornner
May 31, 1941 - October 10, 2011
DeQuincy - Claude "Frenchie T-Boy" Cornner, 70, died at DeQuincy Memorial Hospital Monday, October 10, 2011.
He was native of Abbeville, La. and he had lived in the DeQuincy area for 35 years. He was a member of DeQuincy Street Sweeper Club, he built his own hot rod, and a member of the Singer Volunteer Fire Department . Mr. Cornner liked to shrimp, hunt and fish and was a good cook. He liked to work in his woodshop and was everyone's friend. He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Cornner; mother AnnaMae Hardy Hebert and granddaughter, Britany Michelle Wendt.
Survivors include his wife, Freda Cornner of Oretta community, La.; three sons, Dennis Cornner and Tony Cornner of Moss Bluff and Michael "Fritz" Yellott of Lake Charles, La four daughters, Dianna Thompson of Moss Bluff , Shelley Vidrine of Arlington, Tx., Jayne Yellott and Jennifer Doyle of DeQuincy; one brother, Milton Hebert,Jr.; eight sisters, Yvonne Ardoin, Linda Hebert, Cheryl Cornner, Cindy Guillory, Leona Roberts, Kathy Myrick, Patricia LeBlanc, and Rita Downs; step-father Milton Hebert, Sr.; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday October 12th, from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday October 13th from 10 til service time at Hixson Snider Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 13th, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Loyd Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Oretta Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Snider Funeral Home.
