      Chelf Rites Friday

      LEBANON, Ky., March 22 (AP) - Funeral services will be held at the Lebanon Baptist church at 3 p.m. Friday for Walter B. Chelf, 41, Lebanon attorney and brother of Representative Frank Chelf (D-Ky) who died at his home here Wednesday.

      He had returned home Monday after treatment at a Rochester, Minn., clinic and a hospital in Louisville.

      Chelf served as counsel for the National Labor Relations Board at Indianapolis and Cincinnati and in 1937 sought the Democratic nomination for state senator from the 14th Kentucky district.

      Chelf also served as acting Marion county attorney while his brother was in the Army Air Forces. He was a graduate of Centre College, Danville, Ky., and o Cumberland University, Lebanon, Tennessee.

      In addition to his brother, who was reported on his way here, Chelf is survived by his wife and a son, Felix.
