Paul M. LeBlanc
CARENCRO - Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2002, at a service in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Paul M. Leblanc, 66, who died at 7:10 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2002, at University Medical Center in Lafayette.
A native of Abbeville, Mr. LeBlanc was a resident of Carencro. He was employed by Melancon Life Insurance Co. for the past 10 years.
Mr. LeBlanc was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars posts in Patterson and Lafayette.
Survivors include his wife, Trudy Maricle LeBlanc, of Carencro; two sons, Paul S. LeBlanc and his wife, Nikia, of Lake Charles, and Brandon D. LeBlanc, of Atlanta, Ga.; five daughters, Sarita Odom and her husband, Dexter, of Newton, Texas, Joyce Lawson and her husband, Jerry, of Fort McCoy, Fla., Millie Rowe and her husband, Tom, of Gulport, Miss., Tina Gilley, of Dallas, Texas, and Paula Odom and her husband, David, of Kirbyvile, Texas; seven stepsons, David Johnston and his wife, Chrissy, of Oakdale, Michael Johnston, of Fayetteville, Ark., Ricky Ware, Tim Ware, Kevin Ware, Glen Ware and Will Finus; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, Lovelace LeBlanc and his wife, Joyce, and James LeBlanc and his wife, Irene, all of Abbeville; and one sister, Thelma L. Breaux, of Abbeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Semar LeBlanc and the former Rosita Cabrol, both natives of Mementou, and two great-grandchildren.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11 a.m. today until time of the services.
