  Obituary: SAREPTA, April 18 (Special) - Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Jane Houston, 82, were held today at the Sarepta Baptist Church. Burial was in the old Sarepta Cemetery. Mrs. Houston died Wednesday at her home here after a lengthy illness. Survivors are four sons, J. Hollis and E. L. Houston of Sarepta, C. C. Houston of Springhill and J. T. Houston of Long Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Miss L. Crawford and Mrs. Evelyn Kean of Sarepta; two sisters, Mrs. W. B. Smith of Springhill and Mrs. Walter Jones of San Angelo, Tex.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. (Published in The Shreveport Times on April 18, 1958)
