Notes - Obituary:
SAREPTA, LA. - Services for Mrs. Evelyn Houston Keane, 70, of Sarepta, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday September 2, at New Sarepta Baptist Church. Rev. Richard May will officiate. burial will be in Old Sarepta Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary of Springhill.
She died Tuesday, September 1, 1981 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, La. Mrs. Keane, a native and lifetime resident of Sarepta, was a retired Head Nurse for International Paper Co., after 25 years service. She was a member of New Sarepta Baptist Church.
Mrs. Keane is survived by one son, John Edward "Eddie" Keane, Sr. of El Dorado, Ark.; three brothers, Charles Houston of Amarillo, Tex., Hollis Houston and Ned Houston of Sarepta; one grandson, John Edward Keane, Jr.; a number of nieces & nephews.
