Travis O. Kelley
Travis O. Kelley was born June 30, 1938 in Jayton, Texas, to Mamie Jewel (Hamlin) and Perry George Kelley, and died Saturday, February 25, 2006 in a local hospital.
Travis resided in Lufkin for most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a self-employed painter and carpenter. Travis loved playing with his grandchildren and having family get-togethers.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Delores Kelley of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Marlon Jeffery and Debbie Kelley of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Carla Sue Kelley and Jeff Tyler of Hudson; son, Marshall Ray Kelley of Hudson; son and daughter-in-law, Travis Maurice and Jennifer Kelley of Hudson; daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Derrick Dupus of Prague, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Lackey of Huntington; brothers, James Kelley of Crockett, Larry Kelley of Houston and Perry J. "Mickey" Kelley of Shreveport, Louisiana; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mamie Jewel and Perry George Kelley; brother, Herman Lawrence Kelley; and sister, Eloise Noel.

Travis Kelley
LUFKIN - Services for Travis O. Kelley, 67, Hudson, formerly of Lufkin, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home chapel, Lufkin, with the Rev. Ray Hamlin officiating.
Burial will be in Narrow Way Cemetery.
Mr. Kelley died Feb. 25, 2006, in a local hospital.
He was born June 30, 1938, in Jayton to the late Perry George and Mamie Jewel Hamlin Kelley. He lived in Lufkin most of his life, served in the Army, and was a self-employed painter and carpenter. He was preceded in death by brother, Herman Lawrence Kelley, and sister, Eloise Noel.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Delores Kelley, Lufkin; sons, Marion Jeffery Kelley, Lufkin, Marshall Ray Kelley and Travis Maurice Kelley, both of Hudson; daughters, Carla Sue Kelley Tyler, Hudson, and Lynda Dupus, Prague, Okla.; sister, Louise Lackey, Huntington; brothers, James Kelley, Crockett, Larry Kelley, Houston, and Perry J. "Mickey" Kelley, Shreveport, La.; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Travis Kelley, Jeff Kelley, Jeff Tyler, Robert Howell, Cody Whipple, Bruce Wade, Jeff Kelley Jr. and Lance Kelley.
Honorary pallbearer is Pete Noel. Family will receive friends 1:30-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. If desired, memorials may be made to the Trust Fund for Carla Tyler, care of Hibernia Bank, Lufkin.
