      Kathy Jean Flanagan McCuistion

Kathy Jean Flanagan McCuistion went to be with Our Lord and Savior April 30, 2021. Kathy passed peacefully in the hands of her beloved Son, Marcus, and dear friend, Flora Brawley, after succumbing to her brave and graciously fought battle with Cancer.

Kathy was born and raised and Graduated from Ballinger HS.

She went on to work for and retire from the State of Texas after 20+yrs.

She then became a Master Social worker for Hospice here in San Angelo here she had served this community and the surrounding area for the past 21yrs.

Kathy committed her heart and soul to serving this community at its most vulnerable time and did so with incredible grace, selflessness and love. This passion not only extended to her pts and their families but also to the amazing Doctors (And dear friends Dr Stanley and Dr Vicki Forlano) nurses and amazing CNA's she had the pleasure of working with.

She was SO proud of the team she worked with and ultimately came full circle to care so deeply for her these past few months.

To her family, work family and close friends, Kathy leaves behind her legacy of caring so selflessly for others and great passion for baking her way into so many hearts.

Kathy is survived by her son, Marcus McCuistion, Grandsons Ethan, Corbin, Trayton and Jagon McCuistion. Their Mom, Melissa Feist-McCuistion. Kathy's brother Gary Flanagan and sister, Karen and Herb Cline, her husband. Niece and husband Keitha and Nate Pettijohn, nephew Kevin Flanagan and Sister in law, Janet Flanagan. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Marqius and Louise Flanagan, and brother, Kent Flanagan.

Memorial Services will be held on May 22nd at 2pm at Cains Cove.

We do know that in honor of MiMi's favorite holiday, St Patty's day, we think she would love it if all wore Green!

Thank you, from the family, for all your thoughts and prayers.

Donations can please be made to Gentiva of San Angelo. She would of appreciated that, it's what she would've wanted.
