Notes - Death Notice:
HAMLIN, C.J. "MONK" - Services for C.J. "Monk" Hamlin, 74, of Caruthers, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Full Gospel Assembly of God in Caruthers. Mr. Hamlin, a retired construction worker, died Friday. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Buchheim Family Palm Colonial Chapel.

HAMLIN, C.J. "Monk", in Caruthers, March 17, 1995. Age 74. He was a retired construction worker for Frederick Construction and a World War II Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Bernice Hamlin.
He is survived by sons Ted Sowers of Oregon, Keith Daugherity of Fresno and Eddie Hamlin of Caruthers; daughters, Tina Williams of Hanford, Karen Hodgoson of Fresno, Marsha Rivera of Fresno and Delores Crawford of Hanford; brothers, Earl Hamlin of Caruthers, Toby Hamlin of Oroville, Brodie Hamlin of Grass Valley and Jake Hamlin of Utah; 17 grandchildren; and 2 1/2 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at Full Gospel Assembly of God, Caruthers, on Wednesday, March 22, 1995. Interment will be at Washington Colony Cemetery, Fresno. Visitation will be at the Buchheim Family Palm-Colonial Chapel on Tuesday, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
