Jessie Richard Jones
August 7, 1934 - February 16, 2021
Jessie Richard Jones was born on August 7, 1934 to George and Josephine Jones in Broken Arrow, OK. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
Richard married Katie Hamlin on July 21, 1952. They had three children, Debbie Griffith, Rick Jones and Donald Jones. Richard worked at Hale-Halsell for over 18 years. He enjoyed listening to old gospel music, watching Jimmy Swaggart, gardening, and watching old western movies. He got the greatest pleasure from being with his family.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, James, Mary, Edward, Melvin, Lucy, Earnest (Jr.) and Ina. Richard was also preceded in death by grandson Anthony Griffith and son-in-law Ronnie Griffith.
Richard is survived by his wife, Katie; daughter Debbie; son Rick and Julie Jones; and son Donald and Janice Jones. Richard had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with many extended family members and friends.
He will be deeply missed.
