HICKS, George J., 87, of Round Rock, died Thursday. Graveside services 1 p.m. today in Robstown. Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Jesse (Bernice) Wilson of Round Rock; sisters, Mrs. Artie Jones, Mrs. Lora Franz, both of Corpus Christi; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. HICKS
GEORGETOWN - George J. Hicks, 87, died at 10 p.m. Thursday in Austin, Texas after a long illness.
He was a former long-time resident of the Violet Community.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Robstown Cemetery. Interment will follow.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jessie (Bernice) Wilson, Round Rock; two sisters, Mrs. Artie Jones and Mrs. Lora Franz, both of Corpus Christi; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
