  Obituary: Morris Leon Cannon Services were held for Morris Cannon, 64, of Teague last Thursday who died on November 9 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. Mr. Cannon had lived in Teague since 1973 and was a self employed welder. Prior to his move to Teague, he had served in the Army. He was born in Madisonville on April 10, 1940 to Horace Leon and Arie Lee Cannon. Services were held at Blair Stubbs Chapel, with the minister Dale Mitchell officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery followed. Pallbearers were Dick Cannon, Harvey Johnson, Alton Gunn, Wilton Searcy, Dennis Searcy and James Gunn. Mr. Cannon is survived by his wife Jo Nita, son Rickey and wife Robin of Teague, son Buddy and wife Brandy of Teague, daughter Donna Hudson and husband Steve of Ft. Worth, five grandchildren, Travis and Hayley Hudson, Lucas Cannon, Bayley and Bates Cannon of Teague, aunt Wilma Wilson of Pearland, numerous cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Bobby Lee Cannon. Arrangements were made by Blair Stubbs Funeral Home. (Published in The Fairfield Recorder on November 18, 2004)
