  Obituary: MELVIN LYNN EAVES July 11, 1946 - March 2, 2024 Melvin Lynn "Mel" Eaves, age 77, of Round Rock, Texas passed away at his home in Round Rock on March 2, 2024. Mel was born July 11, 1946 in Madisonville, Texas to Melvin Claud Eaves & Mary Fay (Dodds) Pierce. He was an oil field worker for most of his life. Mel enjoyed watching movies, making CD's and playing on social media. He was a humorous person and enjoyed cracking jokes and making people laugh. Mel was preceded in death by both of his parents and his paternal grandparents, Elvira & Claud Eaves. Surviving family includes sons, Darrell Eaves (Celina Knott), Richard Heffelfinger (Holly) and Jason Brock (Tina); daughter, Mary Ann Cunningham; and grandchildren, Madison Eaves, Samuel Brock, Pam Clark, Michael Paul, Neomi Bazan, Abrianna Bazan, Alexandria Bazan, Natalie Bazan, Rachael Heffelfinger, Ryan Heffelfinger, Miles Cunningham, Elizabeth Cunningham and Nichole Cunningham. A private burial service will take place for Melvin at Rock Prairie Cemetery. Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas is entrusted with final arrangements.
