Robert "Bob" Newman Patterson
SAREPTA, LA - Funeral services for Mr. Robert "Bob" Newman Patterson, 66, will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 1997 at the New Sarepta Baptist Church where he was a member with the Rev. Marty Wright officiating. Burial will be in the Old Sarepta Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill.
Mr. Patterson, a native of Bloomburg, Texas and a resident of Sarepta, passed away Thursday, May 15, 1997 in Bossier City, La. after a short illness. He was the retired owner of Patterson Business Machines for 29 years in Minden, La. He was a member of the Good Sam's Woodchoppers Club.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Riley Dunning.
He is survived by his wife with whom he had celebrated their 26th Wedding Anniversary on May 9, 1997, Lena C. Patterson; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah Ann and James Russell Harding of Springhill, Lela Mae and Wayne Hunter of Minden, and Roberta Joyce Patterson of Sarepta; a son, David Burroughs, Jr. and his wife, Carolyn of Haughton, La.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chad Mills, John Reeves, Darrold McAllister, Bill Carver, W. M. Wilson and Roy Spence.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Good Sam's Woodchoppers Club.

Mr. Robert Newman "Bob" Patterson, 66, of Sarepta, LA passed away Thursday evening, May 15, 1997 at the Willis Knighton Bossier Health Center in Bossier City following a short illness.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 18, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Sarepta Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Wright officiating. Burial was in the Old Sarepta Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill, LA.
Mr. Patterson, a native of Bloomberg, TX and a resident of Sarpeta, was a member of the New Sarepta Baptist Church and was the retired owner and operator of Patterson Business Machines in Minden, LA after 29 years in business. He was a member of the Good Sam's Woodchoppers Club.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Mrs. Lena Crawford Patterson, of Sarepta, LA; three daughters, Deborah Ann Harding and her husband, James Russell Harding, of Springhill, LA, Lela Mae Hunter and her husband, Wayne Hunter, of Minden, LA, Robert Joyce Patterson of Sarepta, LA; one son, David Burroughs, Jr. and his wife, Carolyn of Haughton, LA; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Chad Mills, John Reeves, Darrold McAllister, Bill Carver, W.M. Wilson and Roy Spence. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Good Sam's Woodchoppers Club.
