Graveside services for Billy Ray Carlin, 71, of Coushatta, LA will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Bro. Marvin Burkett officiating.
Mr. Carlin was born January 7, 1947 in Jennings, LA and passed away August 24, 2018. Billy enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He retired from DOTD after twenty-three years of service. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Ella Carlin; two brothers, Eric Carlin and Randy Simon; one grandchild, Aden Isaiah Rollins.
Mr. Carlin is survived by his wife of 43 years, Audrey Carlin of Coushatta, LA; two daughters, Ella Faye Carlin Fields and husband, Vince of Frierson, LA and Rosea Lee Carlin Rollins and husband, Tra of Lake Jackson, TX; two sons at heart, Chris Williamson and wife, Rachael of Martin, LA and Kelly Williamson and wife, Jasmine of Martin, LA; one brother, Danny Carlin of Destrehan, LA; five sisters, Sandra Dehn of Bossier City, LA, Rose Wager of Bossier City, LA, Dianna Mayo of Bossier City, LA, Marlene Guillory of Metairie, LA, and Betty Simon of Metairie, LA; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chris Williamson, Kelly Williamson, Jimmy Williamson, James Hurst, Charles Crawford, and Cody Gathright. Honorary pallbearers will be T.J. Gartman and Kenyardah Jones.
