Notes - Obituary:
Howard "Howie" Alfred Lipsey
October 27, 1962 - February 9, 2022
Howard Lipsey departed this life suddenly on the morning of February 9th after living courageously with health issues for several years. He was born and lived most of his life in Houston Texas. He departed this life in San Antonio Texas where he had resided for the past nine years.
A working man who was a brilliant mechanic, working on large diesel trucks and all makes and models of cars. Much of his professional work history was with Smith Brothers Trucking in Houston. He was particularly proud of the race-cars he helped build. In recent years he was a lawnmower and small engine repair mechanic who could fix anything.
An animal lover. Many dogs were rescued from the streets and found loving companionship with him. His heart led him to feed stray dogs and cats throughout his lifetime.
A friend helping many with his mechanical and handyman skills. He was a helpful friend with a big heart. He loved "classic rock" and some "country" and enjoyed listening to music with his friends.
Howie lived his life "his way on his terms" and many of his friends said he was a "Good Man."
Howie was cremated at his request and a private family celebration of life is planned for this Spring. He leaves behind several friends and family who love and miss him and will carry him in our hearts forever.
