Services for Lillian A. "Big Sister" Bigham, 98, of White Oak will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at Lakeview Mausoleum Chapel with the family receiving friends 3-4 p.m. at the mausoleum. Entombment will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bigham was born Aug. 28, 1904, in Cotton Valley, La. She retired to White Oak in 1972. She died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002. Mrs. Bigham was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in White Oak.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Isha Cloud and Ruth Service; four brothers, J.E. Wills, John Adkins, Penny Adkins and Houston Adkins; her husband, Guy W. Bigham Sr.; and a step-son, Guy W. Bigham Jr.
Survivors include her step-daughter, Nancy Callahan and her husband, Guy C., of Muncie, Ind., and her stepdaughter-in-law, Betty Bigham of Memphis, Tenn. She is also survived by her nieces, Audrey Knotts and her husband, David, of Gladewater; Pat Stokes and her husband, Robert, of Tyler; Frances Cleveland and her husband, David, of Mineral Wells; and Judy Edwards and her husband, Bruce, of Fort Worth. Survivors also include her nephews, George Cloud and his wife, Barbara, of White Oak and Bill Service and his wife, Beth, of Shreveport, La.; six step-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Donalita Adkins of Mineral Wells; 15 great-nieces and great-nephews; 33 great-great-nieces and nephews; eight great-great-great nieces and nephews; and special great-niece Dianne Hawthorne of White Oak.
