      Otto R. Franz

      Funeral services for Otto R. Franz, 67, of Sinton, a former resident of Corpus Christi, will be at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at St. John's Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Goodenough, pastor of First Methodist Church, Sinton, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Mark Williams, pastor of St. John's Methodist Church. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.

      The body will be taken to the church at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow.

      Franz died at 1:50 p.m yesterday in a local hospital following a long illness.

      An oil production worker for Morgan Mineral Corp., he moved here in 1938 and moved to Sinton in 1950. He was a native of Ada, Okla.

      Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lora R. Franz; two daughters, Mrs. Ivan Wood and Mrs. C. C. Thomas, both of Corpus Christi; one son, Otto Jr. of Corpus Christi; one sister, Mrs. Myral Hicks of Skidmore; one brother, Dewey of Killeen, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

      Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

      Otto R. Franz

      Otto R. Franz, 67, a former resident of Corpus Christi who moved in 1950 to Sinton, died at 1:50 p.m. yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.

      Franz, an oil production worker for Morgan Mineral Corp., moved to Corpus Christi in 1938 and lived here until moving to Sinton.

      He was a native of Ada, Okla Surviving are his wife, Laura H.; one son, Otto Jr.; two daughters, Mrs. Ivan Wood and Mrs. C. C. Thomas, all of Corpus Christi; a sister, Mrs. Myral Hicks of Skidmore; a brother, Dewey of Killeen; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

      Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Harold Goodenough, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. He will be assisted by the Rev. Mark Williams of St. John's Methodist Church of Corpus Christi. Location of the services will be announced today.

      Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park under direction of Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home.
