  Obituary: HOUSTON - Funeral services for G.R. "Pinky" Adkins, 60, of Houston, formerly of Price, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, in the Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Biser officiating. Burial will follow in Rusk County Memorial Gardens. He died Monday at his residence. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, 6 to 7 p.m. Born Aug. 26, 1936, in Price, he had lived in Houston for 30 years. A member of the Methodist faith, he was an insurance salesman for America Capitol Insurance Co., was involved in international development for Macliff Industries, and most recently, supplied and contracted highway construction for M&C Consolidated. Survivors include two sons, John S. Adkins of Houston, Douglas R. Adkins of Dallas; a daughter, Sue Ann Pieri of Houston; and three grandchildren.
