Notes - Obituary:
KILGORE - Services for Ricky Glenn Adkins, 33, Kilgore, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Kilgore with the Revs. Donald Nunn and Bruce Edwards officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens near Henderson.
Mr. Adkins drowned Monday while fishing in a pond at the rear of his residence.
He was born April 14, 1954, in Henderson, and was a resident of Kilgore for three years. He was a registered nurse in intensive care in the Gladewater Municipal Hospital and was a member of New London United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his father, G.H. Adkins, White Oak; his grandmother, Mrs. Jewell Oldham, Henderson; a brother, G.R. "Pinky" Adkins, Houston; two nephews, John S. Adkins, Houston, and Douglas Adkins, College Station; a niece, Sue Ann Adkins, Houston.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
