HOMEYER, Ernest S., 44, of Caldwell, died Monday. Services 10 a.m. Wednesday at Caldwell Brethren Church. Burial, Caldwell Masonic Cemetery. Survivors: wife, Carolyn Homeyer of Caldwell; sons, Craig Allan Homeyer, Carl Wayne Homeyer, both of Caldwell; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman W. Homeyer of Caldwell; brothers, Herman W. Mr. Homeyer
CALDWELL - A funeral for Mr. Ernest Steck Homeyer, 44, of Caldwell, is scheduled for 10. a.m. Wednesday in the Caldwell Bretheren Church with burial following in the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. Albert Michalek and the Rev. Joe Ed Lamb will officiate.
Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.
Mr. Homeyer died Monday morning at his residence. He was born Oct. 31, 1935, in Caldwell and was a lifelong resident.
He had worked as a barber for 25 years.
Mr. Homeyer was president of the board of elders of the Bretheren Church, member of the choir and men's brotherhood. He was also a member of the Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Carolyn Homeyer of Caldwell; two sons, Mr. Craig Alan Homeyer and Carl Wayne Homeyer, both of Caldwell; two brothers, Mr. Herman W. Homeyer of Bryan and Thomas Gene Homeyer of Caldwell; one sister, Mrs. O. L. (Edna Mae) Pate of Bryan; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman W. Homeyer, Sr. of Caldwell.
