Ella Drgac
CALDWELL - Ella Drgac, 67, of the Cooks Point community near Caldwell, died Sunday evening in a Burleson County hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Caldwell Brethren Church, with the Rev. Dan Marek of the Caldwell Brethren Church and the Rev. Henry E. Beseda of Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell. Arrangements are in the care of Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Mrs. Drgac was born in Burleson County and lived all of her life in the Cooks Point community. She was a homemaker and a member of the Caldwell Brethren Church, and a member of the Christian Sisters of the Caldwell Brethren Church.
Survivors include two sons, Lamar Drgac of Cameron and Dennis W. Drgac of Caldwell; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Mahlmann of Caldwell; a brother, Joe Mahann of Pasadena; three sisters, Albina Kuben of Caldwell, Marie Zawadzke of Gause and Margaret Zawadzke of Cameron; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Expression Of Sympathy

ELLA DRGAC,
age 67, of Route 3, Caldwell, Texas, died suddenly Sunday evening, March 20 in Burleson County Hospital.
Funeral services for Ella Drgac were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 22 in the Caldwell Brethren Church with the Rev. Daniel J. Marek and the Rev. Henry E. Beseda officiating. Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery.
A prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Phillips-Luckey Chapel led by the Rev. Daniel J. Marek.
She was born December 22, 1920 in Burleson County to the late Tom Machann and Helen Fitzgerald Machann. A lifetime resident of Burleson County, she was married to Johnnie J. Drgac November 22, 1938 in Caldwell. They made their home in the Cooks Point coummunity. He preceded her in death May 16, 1968.
Sister Drgac was a homemaker and a member of the Caldwell Brethren Church. She was very active in all work of the church. She was a Sunday School teacher, worked with Vacation Bible School and active in the Christian Sisters women of the church. She was special to all who knew her.
Survivors include two sons, Lamar Drgac (and wife, Barbara) of Cameron; Dennis W. Drgac of Caldwell; daughter, Mrs. Albert D. (Beverly) Mahlmann of Caldwell; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; brother, Joe Machann of Pasadena, Texas; three sisters, Albina Kubin of Caldwell, Marie Zawadzke of Gause and Mrs. Edwin (Margaret) Zawadzke of Cameron.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, John T. Machann and one sister, Mrs. Milady Hovorak.
Pallbearers were Donald Machann, Jim Denio, Henry Hovorak, Frankie Kubin, Alvin Bormann, Billy Allbright, Morris Zawadzke and Hubert Drgac.
Honorary pallbearers were Thomas Cannon, Oscar Weeber, Raymond Hovorak, Melvin Hronek, A.G. Hronek, Conrad Machann, Larry Zawadzke, Andy Young, Louis Kokes and J.D. Drgac.
