    • Obituary:

      John Thomas "Bubba" Brown, 52, of 1311 W. Faulker St., died around 11 p.m. Monday at his home from an apparent heart attack.

      Mr. Brown was manager of the used car department of George Morgan Motors. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

      Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Eleanor Brown; a daughter, Miss Eleanor Brown of El Dorado; his mother, Mrs. Audrey Brown of Cotton Plant; a brother, Edmund B. Brown of Batesville; and a sister, Mrs. W.T. Wilkins of Clarksdale, Miss.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Jones officiating.

      Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery.

      Pallbearers will be George Morgan Sr., George Morgan Jr., Douglas Futrell, Donald J. Brown, J.C. Cook and Gerald F. Boyd.

      The family requests that memorials be made to the John T. Brown Memorial fund at the First Presbyterian Church.
