  Obituary: Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church for August Clement. Burial followed the services, in the St. Joseph's Cemetery. Mr. Clement was 68 years old at the time of his death on Monday, February 11 at 7:00 a.m. Survivors include his wife, Florence Guidry Clement of Lake Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Deon Pryor of Rayne; one son, Ogden Clement of Pasadena, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Rena Broussard of Rayne; six grandchildren and one great grand child. Gossen Funeral home was in charge of arrangement. (Published in the Rayne Independent on February 14, 1980)
