  Obituary: Florence Clement, 94, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at a Welsh nursing home. A former beautician, she was a resident of Lake Charles. She was preceded in death by her husband, August Clement. Survivors include her son, Ogden Clement and wife, Dolly of Friendswood, Texas; a daughter, Deon Cronkite and husband, Chad of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Murphy Guidry of Lake Charles and Bob Guidry of Houma; one sister, Dorothy Mae Roussell of Luling; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept.19, at Immaculate Conception Cathedral Catholic Church in Lake Charles. The Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
