  Obituary: RAYNE - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, in St. Joseph Catholic Church at a Mass of Christian burial for Wilson Paul Gaspard, 86, who died at 1:30 a.m. at Rayne Guest Home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery No 2. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Nola C. Gaspard, of Rayne; one daughter, Diana Stutes, of Duson; two sons, Wilford J. Gaspard, of Rayne, and Lawrence Gene Gaspard, of Rayne; one sister, Hazel Servant, of Lake Charles; eight grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodule Gaspard and Anola Trouvie Gaspard; one brother, Widly Gaspard; and one sister, Virginia Haley. Mr. Gaspard was a lifelong farmer and was a past president of the Acadia Parish Drainage Board. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of funeral services Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Paul Stutes, Richard Gaspard, Kevin Gaspard, Cory Gaspard, Shannon Gaspard and Bobby Musso. Honoary pallbearers will be Skylar Gaspard and Steve Zuklie.
