    • Obituary:

      Funeral rites were conducted in Abbeville Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock for Mrs. Rita Boudreaux, 61, resident of Vinton for the past 30 years and a native of Vermilion parish, who died at her home Sunday afternoon at 6 o'clock following an illness of six months. Burial was in the New Catholic cemetery with the Reverend LaBrake, assistant pastor of the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic church, conducting the rites.

      Surviving Mrs. Boudreaux are two brothers, S.J. Boudreaux, and Leonce Boudreaux of Abbeville, three sisters, Mrs. Ed Hollier of Vinton, Mrs. E.M. Hebert of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. W.E. Terry of Baton Rouge. Mrs. Boudreaux was the daughter of the late Eraste Boudreaux and Carmelite LeBlanc.

      Six of her nephews served as pallbearers.
